April Fool's

For General Conference we always have donuts for breakfast on Sunday morning.  Mike goes to the priesthood session on Saturday night at the church building closest to Krispy Kreme.  When it's over he swings buy and gets his after priesthood treat and breakfast for the next morning.  The kids have been discussing donuts for days!  On Saturday night when Mike came home we transferred the donuts out of the box and hid them.  We left the box on the table with glaze, a few bites of donut, and sprinkles in the empty box and on the table.  On Sunday morning we could hear the kids get up and go into the kitchen.  Moments later there was some discussion and then footsteps thundering up the stairs to our room.  Madeline and Lilah were near tears and very upset, Calvin and Anna Elise were sure those donuts were in the house somewhere and they demanded to know where we had put them.  Mike told them it was April Fools and Calvin went racing back downstairs to find them.    We all had a good laugh and a yummy breakfast!
