Announcing Baby #4

Yes, I am pregnant again! I am 11 weeks and I am feeling much better. The fatigue seems to be better, the nausea is letting up, the only thing getting worse is that problem I have with saliva that causes a horrible taste in my mouth, but it should only last another month or so. I am already showing, the blessings of having number 4 and of constantly eating to combate the morning sickness. I've compiled a list of the answers to all the questions I've already been asked. Since I haven't announced this at work yet, nor am I showing enough for the
general public to know - this is a small list and it will get much better. (Consider the lady at work who when she found out I was pregnant with Madeline asked me if it was against my religion to use birth control - in the lunch room during lunch!) I'm constantly amazed at what people think it's ok to ask or say!

Yes, I am happy about it
Yes, we did want another one and it was planned
I don't know how many we are having, we take it one at a time
I don't know what gender I want
Madeline and this one will be 21 months apart - that is the same as Calvin and Madeline
I'm due in mid-October

That should cover it!

Happy Easter

Easter finally came. The kids were SO excited for the day. They got special easter bags from Aunt Jenny. The girls loved their headbands and Calvin loved his cars - but what they really wanted was their candy. They then went outside and we did a little Easter egg hunt. Madeline was so cute picking up her eggs, shaking them, then putting them in her bag. Mike was in charge of the cameras. I was so excited to post my blog tonight and found 3 (yes, three) pictures on the camera. I haven't checked the video camera yet, he claims there is some good footage, I hope so! The next time the girls wear their cute Easter dresses, I'll get some better pictures (mom). I think Mike used the right DVD disc, so the footage he took should be able to post to the blog, so I will be adding that soon.

Home Again

I had a quick trip home to Washington state for a girl's weekend with my family! It was great.
All 6 of us sisters and my mom were able to meet in Spokane at Steph's apartment. You can
click on Stephanie's blog on my sidebar to see a picture of all of us (right, Steph? You're the
only one with a picture from last weekend). Several of us were able to go to Time Out for Women Seminar. It was so good! I love how Sheri Dew can be so inspiring and encouraging to women without putting men down. She was amazing. My mom was so excited that we got to shake her hand. We also learned to get more power (who doesn't love that?) and we listened to Caroline Hinckley Peirce as well (Presidently Hinckley in a skirt according to Sheri Dew).
We were able to go out to dinner and do some shopping. It was fun to be together without kids
and husbands. I also really enjoyed a break from being a mommy. I came home to a clean house, flowers, and some very precious notes from my husband and kids. Apparently they missed me. Their time with daddy was spent eating at Cici's, looking at new houses, and going to the 'big movie' - so what's to miss?

Since coming home Madeline has fallen while trying to ride Calvin's tricycle. She landed on her forehead and got a scab right on the middle of her forehead in the shape of a cirlce. Mike calls her unicorn. The other day Mike came home for dinner and Madeline was so glad to see him that she laid her head down in her plate and smiled at him.

Announcing a New Addition to our Home...

a new piano! OK - a really old piano. We got a piano about a week and a half ago. It was free. It needs to be tuned and has three broken hammers, and one broken key, but once we get the piano repair guy out here and Mike 'NHance's it - it will be great! The kids LOVE it! I need to get a stool for it and buy some music and try to remember how to play it!

Today we went out for a Sunday walk. Anna Elise wore her ballerina dress and ballet slippers, with pants under it and a jacket. She decided to wear her hood and added Calvin's Zoro mask to complete her look. I'm not exactly sure what look she was going for...

Calvin decided to wear his fireman hat on the walk. Maybe he was compensating for his pink bike?

Calvin and Anna play dress up and pretend a lot together. Yesterday Calvin was the prince. He wore his fireman coat, one cowboy boot, and his Zoro mask. He danced around the living room singing "if you love me for me" from the Barbie movie Princess and the Pauper. Anna Elise dressed up in her purple tutu, with one purple ballet shoe and one white ballet slipper, and a swan crown. She did ballet dancing from the Barbie movie The Nut Cracker. On cue Calvin
knelt down and held her hands so she could do a one legged dip move and he held her up (just like in the movie). It was so precious. Then Calvin kept asking Anna Elise if it was 'time to fall in love yet?' She kept telling him no, she wasn't done dancing. He certainly likes to tease his sisters, but when he cooperates, he makes one heck of a prince!
