Announcing a New Addition to our Home...

a new piano! OK - a really old piano. We got a piano about a week and a half ago. It was free. It needs to be tuned and has three broken hammers, and one broken key, but once we get the piano repair guy out here and Mike 'NHance's it - it will be great! The kids LOVE it! I need to get a stool for it and buy some music and try to remember how to play it!

Today we went out for a Sunday walk. Anna Elise wore her ballerina dress and ballet slippers, with pants under it and a jacket. She decided to wear her hood and added Calvin's Zoro mask to complete her look. I'm not exactly sure what look she was going for...

Calvin decided to wear his fireman hat on the walk. Maybe he was compensating for his pink bike?

Calvin and Anna play dress up and pretend a lot together. Yesterday Calvin was the prince. He wore his fireman coat, one cowboy boot, and his Zoro mask. He danced around the living room singing "if you love me for me" from the Barbie movie Princess and the Pauper. Anna Elise dressed up in her purple tutu, with one purple ballet shoe and one white ballet slipper, and a swan crown. She did ballet dancing from the Barbie movie The Nut Cracker. On cue Calvin
knelt down and held her hands so she could do a one legged dip move and he held her up (just like in the movie). It was so precious. Then Calvin kept asking Anna Elise if it was 'time to fall in love yet?' She kept telling him no, she wasn't done dancing. He certainly likes to tease his sisters, but when he cooperates, he makes one heck of a prince!

I love it Sally, you need to get that on video. He will be so embarassed when hes older for asking Anna Elise if its time to fall in love yet? So funny.

I'm browsing your old blogs to find a picture of you with curly hair. I can't believe you got that piano for free. It actually looks exactly like mine. Except I didn't spend anywhere near $0 for mine. You're a lucky gal.
