Coloring

This morning Mike watched Lilah coloring.  He asked me if all three-year-olds could color inside the lines.  I don't know if they do, but I do know that Lilah can stay in the lines better then a certain 5 year old sister...Lilah has always been very capable and determined - she usually figures things out a bit early (she was walking at 9 months) but then she has to - to keep up with everyone else!

That's awesome. I know the three year old I babysit is not a color inside the lines kind of girl. Most of the pages in her coloring books are covered top to bottom in 2-4 colors. Or one color in a scribble in the middle of the page. She doesn't have to share her coloring with anyone though because her older sisters aren't really interested anymore, so she doesn't have anyone to watch.

Yeah, I wouldn't say that's "normal". That is amazing! I'm so impressed! It's funny how the younger kids catch on to things faster b/c of older siblings.

Her coloring is pretty impressive. Also, I loved her in the obstacle course. The last little hamper was the best.

I have a 3year old too and she doesn't stay in the lines that well yet. I also see she is left handed...this means she is in her right mind!
